Purpose
To collect, analyze and interpret state-specific behavioral risk

factor data in order to plan, implement, and monitor public

health programs

Description
Household survey to monitor behaviors related to the leading

causes of death. Information of age, race, sex, educational

attainment, income, marital status, alcohol consumption,

drinking and driving habits, and various other safety-related

topics.

Special Features
Annual survey. Adminsitered by Illinois Department of Public

Health for the CDC. Core data collected for all states. Each

state can choose supplemental modules.
